Signed bottom left "J.Damstra".
(Jeroen Damstra, born 1898 in The Hague, died in 1963. Damstra was known for his many duck families on the water, which he was able to capture in a very realistic manner, with Constant Artz being his great teacher and example. Although Damstra was not inferior to Artz, the prices of his pieces never reached those of Artz.
So if you find an Artz too expensive, then this is a more than excellent alternative.
The painting is in very good condition.
With a very nice, intact classic frame.
