KNIFE made with SEYMCHAN METEORITE. Handmade. - 136 g

Fantastic knife made with Seymchan iron meteorite, Russia, 1967. Type: Pallasite (metal part). It has an excellent length of 25.5 cm and a handle featuring motifs that remind us of the fire in a meteorite fall. The cutting blade has been treated to show the Widmanstätten patterns, which look spectacular. On the blunt part it retains the fusion crust, so it is left au naturel. An artwork. Handmade. In ancient times, meteorites were considered a divine offering, mainly when they were of iron type: a shower of stones to forge utensils, weapons, tools. with.., and which were so useful for daily tasks. Ancient peoples knew this metal and they considered it more valuable than any other jewel. The first iron weapons, tools and utensils were made using iron from meteorites. An example of this is Tutankhamun’s Dagger. As IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association) members, with number #7412, we guarantee the authenticity of all our pieces. Buy with guarantees.
