Ancient flatware set early 20th century, superb and heavy quality, complete, twelve silver metal flatware in its wooden case with a "croco" pattern, in good condition. It consists of: 12 teaspoons, 12 spoons, 12 forks and 1 ladle in a large case lined with yellow silk in very good condition. The basis weight is 84 for 12 flatware, 10 for the ladle and 18 for the teaspoons. The set bears the diamond goldsmith's punch marked ‘couverts DIXI’. The teeth of the forks are in near mint condition (not blunt). Typical decor of this time period. A label in the box indicates that it comes from a jewellery store in Montargis (Loiret - France). Micro-scratches due to its use. It has to be cleaned. Use "Nitrargent" and you'll have new flatware. Carefully packed tracked shipment.
