Antica ditta fratelli bertoldo - Tre Spade - grinder (2) - Metal-Wood

Two functioning coffee grinders, brand 'Tre Spade', Italian company FB (Fratelli Bertoldo) which origin dates back to 1894 in Forno Canavese (Turin), it was the leader in the production and sale in Europe. In 1905 it produced cars; in 1908 it ceased its activity to produce war material; in 1929 it went through an economic crisis and, in 1938, the new company FACEM (Fabbricazione Articoli Casalinghi e Metallurgici S.p.A.) was founded, which maintained the brand 'Tre Spade'. After World War 2, it was the first Italian company exporting in America and Australia. These coffee grinders are two: one has the traditional barrel from 1910–35; the second one dates back to the 1960s, Rome Olympics, and bears sports figures, a rare piece. The lot will be sent with tracking, safety packaging and by insured courier.
