Classic high narrow mirror of 2 meters, mirror itself up to 175 cm, made in what looks like the Louis XVI style. Could also be really old and have served as penant mirror (between high windows) The mirror itself is encased in crafted ribbon pattern and gilded wood. Above the mirror is a 25 cm high ornament of a vase and branches, leaves and flowers, made in probably plaster around metal. At the back the mirror has suspension loops and the lower part of the mirror is not covered. The mirror has patina, especially at the top. The ornament has cracks. The woodwork has minor damage. The gilding has wear and tear. In short, the mirror has seen better times, now the age is visible and that gives it character. Can be picked up in the Hague, we can deliver at reasonable cost.
