Grip: Pommel in the shape of a rotating socket, which is a unique feature in English bayonets. The purpose is to allow the bayonet to be used as a hand-held knife. The pommel can be locked in either position. The pads are made of synthetic material with finger grip. Blade: A fuller on each side, Bowie point. High gloss polished finish. Remarks: This model was not intended for large-scale production. Normally these bayonets were removed from circulation. In 1946, only the guard brigade was equipped with it, mainly for parades. All metal parts have a black finish. The pads can be reddish brown or black. Some copies are chromed. Second World War
