Henri Cornand Vincentius Maria de Wolf (Magelang, Indonesia, 30 June 1938 - Groningen, 1 January 1986) was a Dutch painter and jazz musician.
De Wolf was educated at the Academy Minerva in Groningen and at Studio W.D.R. in Cologne.
In 1965 he exhibited at the Groninger Museum together with Edu Waskowsky, Martin Tissing, and Jo van Dijk as the group Gr4k. In 1972 he founded the artist group Galerie Forma Aktua. In 1981 the Forma Aktua Pinakotheek Foundation was founded and in 1983 the gallery was realized.
This lot includes two ‘Koppermaandagprenten’ of work by De Wolf, published by Forma Aktua in 1997 and 2016. The 1997 print entitled 'Round Midnight' is a tribute to jazz musician Charlie Parker and is in good condition. The 2016 print entitled 'US Sex Force' has a slight crease in the lower left corner, but not disturbing.
