A truly gorgeous set of Val Saint Lambert glasses in new condition. The set consists of no less than ten glasses, all without cracks, chips or scratches, even the bottoms are scratch-free. Two of the glasses still have remnants of the original prewar sticker of Val Saint Lambert on the foot. The chalice of the glass is lovely green, a popular colour for Val Saint Lambert, though also used by other glass factories in the 19th and 20th century. The chalice is facet cut, as is the stem which is hexagonal. The foot is fairly flat, the pontil has been smoothly polished. A set from this period consisting of ten glasses is fairly unique.
