Excellent patinated bronze casting with raised inscription inside a frame, decorated with the Savoy crown between laurel and oak leaves on the top. It features the full text of the famous “Bollettino della Vittoria” written by General Armando Diaz on 4 November 1918 to announce the victory of Italy in World War I. The plaque measures approx. 17 x 11 cm and weighs approx. 3/400 grams. Excellent condition. It was made by the Regia Fabbrica d’Armi, Rome Section, and dates back to the early 1920 - early fascist period.
