Roberto Salas (1940-) - Ché Guevara, Cuba, 1964
This print was purchased from Roberto Salas personally in Cuba in the late 1990s. It is a darkroom print on Ilford Fiber Base paper.
The negative is by Roberto Salas in 1964 of Che Guevara smoking a cigar. Iconic photo of the Che. The print has been stored since I bought it.
Roberto stopped making silver archive prints around the year 2000, first turning to resin prints and then to inkjet.
All the prints that I sell are from this silver collection.
