Babbitt metal sculpture depicting a black panther. Signed by French animal sculptor Mr. Leducq. Art Deco period. In good overall condition. The panther has a micro scratch on the right front leg muscle. The marble base is in very good condition. Veined white, cream, black and brown, it has an alternation of black/cream/black on a side (see photo). The word "panther" and the number "116" are noted on the underside of the sculpture. Bronze patina. Refined shape. High quality, heavy.
