Werner Stoff for Nagel KG - 12 modular candlesticks, model S22.
Wonderful vintage designer set of 12 atomic chrome candlesticks, designed in the 1960s/1970s by Werner Stoff for Nagel KG. Commonly referred to as the 'Nagel Candlestick'. This is the popular S22 model.
All candlesticks are in excellent condition for their age, with some usual minor signs of wear. Some photos show some tarnish at the bottom of a candlestick: this is candle wax from arranging the different candlesticks shapes: so, this is easy to remove.
As can be seen in the photos, what is unique about these candlesticks is that they can be stacked into many different shapes, with just one candlestick as a 'base'. This way they always create an atomic, organic, artistic and functional unit.
Height per candlestick is 6.5 cm, diameter is 9 cm.
