The Porsche 928 was a highly advanced car at its time of production. The 928 is a model from the well-known ‘transaxle’ series. Which means that the 4.7 litre V8 is mounted at the front and the automatic gearbox is mounted at the back above the rear-wheel suspension. This was done to optimise the weight distribution. The 928 is the first model that features the known Weissch rear-wheel suspension.
This Porsche 928 type S2 was introduced in model year 1984. Porsche performed some modifications to the engine block, among others a different electronic fuel injection system (the LH-Jtronic) and the compression ratio was increased to 10.4.1. Therefore the engine has 310 HP and 400 Nm torque at 5,900 rpm.

The bodywork of the 928 is fully galvanised and the bonnet, front panels and doors are made of aluminium. Which means that the 928 does not rust.
The 928 is one of the first production cars that came with ABS as a standard feature as of 1986 and it also has automatic climate control, air conditioning and cruise control.

This Porsche 928 S has matching colours. It was supplied in lacquer colour Preussischblau Metallic (33X). This lacquer colour was not part of the standard Porsche colour range, rather it was part of the Sonderfarbe (L999) colour range. This colour was only provided on the 928 in 1986, which makes this a very rare colour for a Porsche 928 S2.
The lacquer is in a neat and good condition in line with its age.

The 928 S2 has neat original Porsche 16” Gullideckel wheels with 4 Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 tyres. Front tyres approx. 7 mm and rear tyres approx. 4 mm.

The interior has the original colour, matching colours. The interior is fitted with leather in the colour black. The interior is in a neat and good condition in line with its age.
The interior has some options such as electrically adjustable seats, seat heating, power mirrors, power windows, electrically unlockable tailgate, sun roof.

This Porsche 928 S2 comes with its original maintenance booklets, manual and various brochures. The maintenance booklet is stamped by the Porsche dealer where this 928 S2 was bought (see photo).

This Porsche 928 S2 will be delivered with a new timing belt, minor maintenance service, recent Dutch periodic vehicle inspection and export documents in case needed.
