Beautifull well made Brass French signal pistol from the First World War. This is one of several different French signal pistols with the M1917 model designation; this version is marked and identified as G. G. & Cie. There is also a letter V over a small arc on the frame near the top of the left grip panel and on the barrel. The other parts are marked with number 954. The barrel and frame are brass; the trigger, hammer, opening lever, internal parts, and lanyard ring are steel. Condition: Mint Very good example! all Original numbered parts with the most beautiful Original checkered walnut grips if have ever seen on these type of signal pistols. The barrel closes like a safe, no play at all. everything works perfectly very nice action and executed with a strong spring. Bore diameter: 26.9 mm weight: 951.5 Grams!
