Gerard Jan Bos. Utrecht 1860-1943 Zutphen. Pupil of his father J. Bos, of J. Hoevenaar Wzn and of the art academy in Antwerp led by C. Verlat and P. Havermaat. Lived and worked in Utrecht until 1878, Antwerp from 1878-1885, The Hague until 1898, Apeldoorn after 1898, Brussels, Hilversum, Diepenheim. He painted landscapes, figures and animals in the style of The Hague school. Beautiful summer landscape of a special painter.
