Carl Friedrich Heinrich Werner (* October 4, 1808 in Weimar; † January 10, 1894 in Leipzig) was a German watercolour painter of architecture.

Signed lower right Carl Werner f. (see also Springer, part II, page 224) and left half of dry seal
Werner started to study painting with Veit Hanns Schnorr von Carolsfeld in Leipzig, then he studied from 1829 architecture in Munich under Friedrich von Gärtner. In 1831 he finally turned to painting only. From 1882, Werner was teacher at the Academy in Leipzig for watercolour painting.
