Diana Model 1 Mod. 1 pneumatic rifle - 1913-1940
Nice pneumatic rifle, Diana model 1. The first model of the Diana pneumatic rifle series, produced from 1913 until 1940. The rifle still looks great, although it does have an occasional little scratch (see pictures). It still shoots well and the aim is also good. Loading the rifle is a bit different from what we are used to nowadays. The rifle will shipped together with a small pellet box 4.5 mm. The thread of the barrel is still works, though you should not screw it to tightly, just use common sense.
You can follow the steps starting with picture 14.
Step 1: unscrew the front of the barrel.
Step 2: Place the pellet in the unscrewed part of the barrel.
Step 3: Screw the barrel in place again (not to tight).
Step 4: Cock the rifle by pushing the butt downwards, until it clicks (see picture).
Step 5: Bring the butt back to its original position.
Step 6: Aim and shoot.
