Fair to good condition
Felt, cotton, gold thread, silk
A total of 97 cm x 96.5 cm
The part with the dragon = 90.5 cm x 56 cm (there is a flap over it, in effect it is bigger, these are the visible parts)
The part with the saints = 90.5 cm x 18.5 cm
Dated around 1920-1940
8 gold polychrome figures, 8 gods are embroidered on silk.
The silk is jaded and some of the gold threads are loose, however, they can be reattached.
On the red felt part a big gold dragon is chasing a pearl.
Around it two phoenix birds, butterflies, bats, blooming lotus and prunus flowers with two vases with branches with blooming flowers.
Here too some gold threads are loose. See photographs.
Apart from the loose threads and the worn part, the piece is in good condition, the felt is not eaten by moths.
A very decorative piece. I will be beautiful when framed.
In good condition considering the age.
