From 1888 dating etching printed on linen of the SACRI VULTUS, the Holy Face Relic, with papal wax stamps,   signature of the Pontifex Maximus dated 21 April 1888. The linen has two stamps which 1 to read. Some age spots on the linen. It is completely encased in original fine ornamental relief frame plaster on wood with gold paint. The frame has a bit age appropriate wear. A wonderful devotional object.
Size: height 21.65 inch, width 17.71 inch. Weight 3611 grams.

This fabric has touched the original veil of Veronica, as well as the remainder of the true cross, and the spear that pierced the side of Christ. The textual description was placed on the back of the relic, the Pope then put wax seal.
