Very nice Illustration representing Benjamin Fleury-Nadal, from a panel from the album "the decalogue - Fleury-Nadal Vol2. Benjamin. 1/2 "(2007, Frank Giroud / Daniel Hulet). A picture of the page is shown in the additional images.
When re-reading the Decalogue ‘backwards’, the reader realizes that all the characters belong to the same family: The Fleury-Nadal.
Benjamin, son of Ninon and Alexandre Fleury, is the hero of a diptych illustrated effectively by Daniel Hulet.
When he first appears, Benjamin Fleury is a student engineer at the Polytechnique school, passionate about Egypt which he knows through drawings by Desnouettes for NAHIK which family owns the originals. A luminous story with the grandiose scenery that inspired the painter Desnouettes for NAHIK.

Daniel Hulet is a Belgian comics artist born on August 25th, 1945, in Etterbeek, and died in Ostend on September 9th, 2011. He began his career as a publicist before working in several weekly magazines including Tintin and Spirou.
In 1980, he began Pharaoh on a text by André-Paul Duchateau. In 1985, he joined the monthly magazine Vécu, where he made ‘Les Chemins de la gloire’ with Jan Bucquoy, then alone.
Two years later, he began ‘État Morbide’ for the Editions Glénat, dark trilogy in a post-industrial environment. In 1996, he took over the Pharaoh series, always between spying and fantastic. With Immondys, he inaugurated the new collection ‘Carrément BD’ of the Editions Glénat.
In 2003, he proposed ‘Extra-Muros’ published by editions Casterman. Collaboration after collaboration, Daniel Hulet offered strong and original works.
