Landauer - built by Fa. Carl Wolf in Rosswein - around 1890
According to certain information built ca. 1890 by Fa. Carl Wolf in Rosswein. Since this has been a factory for axle springs and drop forging it can be that the information about the producer only apply to the iron parts.
The carriage has been restored in 1992 by the Fa. Victoria, PL - 89-530 Sliwice
One can detect a wine red box with yellow lines on a dark green chassis which has yellow lines as well.
As special feature the carriage has a groom seat.
The entrance is covered by a protection which has been applied to the door. The seat and the back rests are in buttoned padding, synthetic crème coloured satin, in the same shade as the roof interior and the boards.
The wheels are fitted with iron tyres. A handbrake functions as parking brake. The brake used to function as service brake as well. An extra service brake has been built in afterwards through disc brakes, which are operated with foot pedals at the rear wheels.
Painted wooden mud guards in the same shade as the box.
Lighting with carriage lamps on both sides.
The chassis has double elliptic springs in front. At the rear down a springs set and on the top a half spring set with transverse spring to increase the riding comfort. The hitching takes place through whippletrees on a pivot.
