Collection of 14 Neanderthal artifacts from the famous site of Fontmaure in France.
These artifacts are from my own collection and I collected these myself years ago in Fontmaure.
The collection consists of several knives, cutters, scrapers and a truly stunning drill.
All the pieces have fine traces of processing and clear "user retouching". They therefore have actually been used by Neanderthals.

All pieces are made from the famous Jasper of Fontmaure.

The site is now closed and similar artifacts will only become more rare.
I'm an archaeologist (major in prehistory of Western Europe) and guarantee that all the pieces are authentic.

I have a universal degree in Archaeology and I personal guarantee they are authentic. I found these pieces myself. 

Fontmaure is one of the most famous prehistoric sites in the world. It is located in the Vienne region, in the middle of France. Artifacts from Fontmaure have been dated 40.000-80.000 years and are fashioned by the Neanderthal people. The unique and extremely beautiful artifacts are often made of jasper. 

Important information:
For transport within the European Union no export license is required for this lot.

Because of the importance of this piece an export license will have to be applied for if it is to be shipped outside the European Union.
This goes via the heritage inspection of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
This can be done only after the sale and may take some time.
