Condition: All 11 dishes are intact, though with some crackle here and there. One dish has a small scratch in the bottom (photo), probably caused by the knife of an over-enthusiast fish eater.

'La Faïencerie de Gien' was founded in Annecy (France) in 1821 and is still active.
This lot consists of eleven circular fish dishes. The raised edge of the dishes has a decoration of scales. Very applicable. The smooth bottom of the dishes are decorated with a multicoloured fish profile in a frame of green water plants.
Six depictions of different fish, of which five double (10) and one single.
