Beautiful wristwatch, 14k rolled gold (white), runs percectly, unique
|Brand:||Elgin Watch Company|
Pristine wristwatch, large model, by the Elgin brand which is truly unique from 1927 (see photo 36).
The watch has been checked, runs well.
The dial is incredibly pristine, no scratches or damage, silver-coloured.
The Arabic numerals have a beautiful sea-green colour and are completely undamaged.
"Elgin" is inscribed on the dial.
The crown is original.
Beautiful blue steel hands.
In contrast to other wristwatches, the winding button needs to be held down in order to wind, holding it down gives a counter pressure which means that it has to be pressed down every time to be wound, very special.
The inscription "Fahys Bristole Gold Filled 14k Shape Patended" and the number 24502 can be found on the inside.
The case is in good condition.
To wind the watch, the crown needs to be pressed in to adjust the hands.
It has a beautiful new burgundy red watch strap, total length 230 mm.
The watch has been checked.
Case and movement are good, runs 24 hours, tested, oiled.
Of course a vintage watch does not have the precision of a quartz movement, but this one keeps time well.
Beautiful original convex glass (scratch-free), only a small chip in the corner, can't be felt (barely visible), can also be glue remains.
Diameter without crown 31 mm, with crown 35 mm.
Thickness: 10 mm.
Weight: 41.64 grams
Will be shipped registered and insured, with track & trace.
The "gold" hand is presentation material and is not included in the sale.
