Very rare TONE miniature spy camera period 1940 - 1950. No HIT type camera, read description!
Offered: very rare TONE miniature spy camera. At a glance, this camera looks like the HIT type of cameras. But that is as far as the comparison goes. The TONE is a heavily made miniature camera that uses 17 mm film.
The Tone has much better finishing than most other HIT type cameras. The top casing is over the full length of the camera, the camera has an eye viewfinder and a waist level viewfinder on the right (see photos).
The naam Tone is engraved above the eye viewfinder, with the caption PAT. and a TOKO logo.
The offered camera is fully functioning and even contains a film. The film may be unusable. The shutter speeds of these camera are: B, 1/25. 1/50 and 1/100. Diaphragm setting f 3.5 to f 11. Lens: Tone anastigmat 25 mm f 3.5.
The camera will be delivered in the original ever ready bag that is made brown leather with Tone embossed on the front.
The final photos shows the Tone miniature camera next to a Nikon Rangefinder. This is for illustration purposes and to give a good impression of the actual size of the camera. The Nikon rangefinder is NOT part of this lot.
