The Senufo tribe is known for their fine arts. The helmet with two horns on top of two ears bend slightly towards the center, and has an upright center section, with at the front a male figure and on the back a female figure, with body and face decorated with various symbols. The helmet was worn by the elite Nookaariga association of healers. The Museum of Abidjan in the Ivory Coast has a bronze version of this helmet in his collection. Originating from the collection of Mr H. Snoeijs in the Netherlands.
