Nice and rare lens produced in DDR by Carl Zeiss Jena at the end of '60s. It's in exc++++ condition. This lens was made only with M42 mount and were manufactured exclusively for the Pentacon Super, in less than 5000 copies and with the typical "Zebra" finish. Focal length unusual (55m) and fast (F:1.4), it's of generous size (for a standard lens) lens, with a weight of around 400gr. Particular the yellowish color of the lenses, due to the presence of thorium in the glass composition. This peculiarity gives a warm tone to color photos (on the web you can find more information about this lens). Ther are some dust inside (a couple of dust particles more "big") and some light cleaning marks on the coating, normal for the age of this lens. It's in very good condition and in good working order. There are two caps not original. On the web you can find some adapter ring for use this lens on some digital cameras.
