Opel - Kapitän A - 2,5L - 1964

For sale is a rare sedan in great condition and accident-free. Opel Kapitän A. Very hard to find! Only 24.000 copies were built. First model series after the facelift. The shape changed from round to rather square with a lot of sheet metal. The A-model was only available in Austria at that time. The exterior captivates with a lot of sheet metal and large trunk -> great classic inspired by the long Americans. The A model was less equipped than the Diplomat and Admiral models. In terms of technology and comfort, however, they were equally strong. A rare model in good condition. The rust spots have been newly welded. The engine runs as smooth as silk. Once fully repainted in the original gold colour. Original beige fabric interior with lots of patina. Service and Austrian TÜV. Completely restored in 2000. Newly welded and ready for TÜV Always hand washed, adjusted and not driven in winter or in bad conditions. There is nothing to prevent individual approval. Austrian H-registration possible. Original type certificate available. Mileage: 144.935 km First registration: 11.1964 Performance: 90HP (66KW) inline-six Transmission: 4-speed manual transmission Displacement (ccm): 2483ccm Kerb weight: 1370 kg Maximum allowed weight: 1850 kg Dimensions: 4,95m length, 1,9m width, 1,45m height Body type: Saloon This vehicle can be viewed and retrieved in 8700 Leoben, Austria.
