This vintage design balloon lamp was designed by Yves Christin for Bilumen Italy, 1975. The lamp was designed as wall light or ceiling light. Yves Christin wanted to mimic the natural rise of a gas balloon. When mounted on a wall, the lamp seems to be ascending towards the ceiling. The lamp can also be used as a table lamp. It is in excellent vintage condition, with almost no signs of wear. And has the original cord and original rainbow decorative marble. The lamp is made of synthetic material. And the base is made of ABS plastic. The base is marked with mention of the producer, designer and the patent number. The measurements of the lamp are 32x24x27 cm.
