Let me introduce myself, I am an Art Collector, as my father and grandfather were before him, our family's motto has always been "Investing in art you earn twice!" Personally, in analyzing the works I deal with, I make use of the precious collaboration of university professors with highly specialized curricula. My collaboration with Catawiki began in 2016 I believed in this reality right from the start and the numbers proved me right, but I do not hide the fact that, for my "most precious" lots, I preferred to use the channel of the most famous auction houses and, after 5 years, I have come to a conclusion, Catawiki today, and it will be more and more in the future, presents itself as an excellent intermediary to bring together supply and demand without those useless (and expensive!) trappings, which accompany the lots presented in auctions all over the world, the cumbersome procedures that lead to the publication of the catalogs do nothing but increase the final cost of the work, often even by 40/50%! Not to mention that the buyer, to evaluate a lot, must be satisfied with a few skimpy images. It is for these reasons that I will use Catawiki exclusively for all the proposals in my collection. I understand that all this may seem like an advertisement for the platform that hosts me, but it is enough to compare the auction catalogs that are online, to confirm what has been stated so far.
