Promissory note (slave letter) that was issued by/signed by the Governor of the Suriname colony.
This concerns a promissory note numbered no. 876 which was signed in December 1863 and was cashed on 4 April 1864. The amount on the note was DFL 5,000.
The document is in good condition, though it has folds and a small hole because of ink erosion.
