The DanmarK was the successor of the sunken training ship København and was the school ship of Denmark. Launched in 1932, the ship was used for training until the beginning of the second World War. At the time the war broke out, the vessel visited the USA and got command to stay there. Then also the US in 1941 took part in the war, the ship was used as a school ship for the coast guard of the United States. After the war, the Danmark returned to Denmark and resumed its training activities.
The dimensions of the model boat are: 
length: 85 cm. (with bowsprit: 100 cm.) 
height: 62 cm. 
width: 13.5 cm.  
Condition: The ship itself is in good, used condition. The rigging of masts can be a challenge for a tinkerer (see photos)
Because of the vulnerability, the boat has to be picked up in Babyloniënbroek (near Gorinchem) 
(will not be shipped/only pick up available) present

The ship is in good, used condition-second half 20th century.
