Recognized as one of the greatest exponents of contemporary glass, he explored the various possibilities of this art through the use of Canne (glass cylinders) made by the master himself with peculiar colours, thus creating unique artworks. He collaborated with artists and scholars from around the world and started a new Renaissance in glassmaking, influencing the course of history of glass in the world.
