How can I update my personal data?

To update your personal data, log in then go to Settings in your account. 

This is what it looks like:


Account

To adjust your email address, password and bidding currency, select Change. You can only change your bidding currency if you haven’t bid before.


Addresses

  • Change your shipping address

To change your address, you can edit your address in your settings and save the edits.

If you buy an object, the seller will ship your object to the address in your account. That address must be a physical address not a PO Box. Make sure to include a street name, number, postal code and town. 

  • Changing country

If you use your account to sell, or have ever started to register as a seller on Catawiki, you will be unable to change your country. 

Instead, you’ll need to sign out of your existing account and create a new account with your up-to-date country and address details. 

Once you’ve created your new account, you’ll be asked to confirm your identity again with our payment partner.

  • Change your billing address

If you want a company name or address to appear on your receipts, add the company name and address as a billing address in your settings.

To change your billing address, select “I am using a different billing address.” at the bottom of the ‘Addresses' page. 

You can add a billing address. Without adding a billing address, and if you're a professional seller selling as a legal entity, your shipping address will be shown publicly on your “Sold by” page, as required by law. When you add a billing address, it will replace your shipping address on these pages.


Payment

Buyers are not required to fill in their credit card information. However, it comes in handy if you need to expedite the extra bidding guarantee on high value objects.

Sellers must provide their bank account number so we know where to send their payments. We also need to know your preferred payment frequency. By default, your payment frequency is set to daily. You are free to change that. 

For those who receive payments from Payoneer, you will need to make any payment adjustments through your Payoneer account. If you have any questions, contact them directly.


Email & Notifications

Here you can customise the emails and notifications that you receive from us. In addition to newsletters, we can notify you when you are outbid and when you have the highest bid. Most choices are turned on by default. You may turn them off.


Verification

To enable your account, your information must be complete. If your information is not complete then you can not bid, buy or sell on Catawiki.
