Paying
Why was my credit card payment declined?

A credit card payment can be declined for the following possible reasons:

  • The card number was entered incorrectly
  • The 3D Secure code is incorrect or inactive
  • Two-step verification wasn’t completed
  • There are insufficient funds available
  • The credit limit has been exceeded
  • The card type isn’t supported
  • The bank declined the payment

How to fix it

Try these steps:

  1. Check that your card number is entered correctly
  2. Confirm that 3D Secure is activated
  3. Complete both steps of two-step verification
  4. Check your account balance or credit limit
  5. Verify that your card type is supported (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  6. Remove the card from your payment settings
  7. Add the card again
  8. Save your changes
  9. Wait a few moments and try again

If the issue continues

If your payment is still declined, contact your bank or card provider for more information or pay with one of the other available payment methods.
