If you sell multiple objects to the same buyer, you can choose to ship them together and potentially save on shipping costs. Here’s how to manage combined shipping.

• You can enable combined shipping in your seller profile or select this option during the object submission process.

• When a buyer purchases two or more objects from you in the same auction, they’ll only pay for shipping once.

• Buyers need to pay for all objects at the same time for the order to be combined. Objects bought with the buy now option cannot be combined.

Manual shipping

When a buyer purchases two or more objects from you in the same auction, you’ll combine them into one parcel and only charge shipping once. 

The shipping cost will be based on the object that is most expensive to ship. For example, if one object has a shipping cost of €2 and another has a cost of €3, the buyer will only pay €3 for shipping. 

Note: for manual shipping, you’ll advance the shipping costs. You’ll recover this cost when the object is delivered.

Smart shipping (available in select countries)

The process for combined shipping is similar to manual shipping. The buyer will be charged the shipping cost of the most expensive object to ship. You will receive a shipping label for the object with the largest package size you selected in the submission form. If you added a packaging and handling fee, this will be charged once.

For smart shipping, we’ll advance the cost and send you a shipping label for the combined shipment.

Orders shipped outside the EU cannot be combined. This is as we’re unable to provide customs documents for multiple objects within one package. If you selected combined shipping and your buyer is outside the EU then we will send you separate shipping labels for each object.
