M.C. Escher - Metamorphose II - four-part

This set of four M.C. Escher posters is in good condition. The posters are in the original cardboard cylinder, unique to the Escher collectors. The ends are slightly distorted because they have only been in the cylinder. Unfortunately the Metamorphose poster has a sticker of the one who gave it as a promotional gift. Dimensions: Height 21.9 cm x Length 102 cm. Between 1939-1940 Maurits Escher made his second Metamorphose. In the second version the beginning and the end are the same, creating a cycle that represents eternity and infinity. In the original version the four parts are connected to see the entire metamorphosis. The four meter long artwork by M.C. Escher, is on display at the Palace on the Lange Voorhout in the Hague. (Escher in the Palace) This publication is produced by the firm Cordon Art BV in Baarn. The copyright remained in possession of the three sons - who later sold the rights to Cordon Art, a Dutch company. Control of the copyright was then transferred to The M.C. Escher Company B.V. of Baarn, the Netherlands, which licenses the copyrights on all art of Escher and on his spoken and written text and also the trademarks. Condition in accordance with age and use, please take a good look at all the detailed photos. Will be sent well packaged and registered via PostNL, both within the Netherlands and abroad.
