This rare, beautiful "Olivetti MP1 Invicta” typewriter comes from circa 1948 and it has a beautiful "azure blue" colour. The MP1 Invicta portable typewriters were made until about 1950. This typewriter has a very decent construction with a sturdy aluminium frame and Dutch keys. Technically, these machines are virtually equal to the first Olivetti (Ico) from 1932. But now lighter and with a sleeker Italian design. The machine has beautiful chrome-plated parts and a firm wooden protective case lined with black imitation leather. Despite its age, this machine still types properly. The key is unfortunately missing, but the lock is intact and can still be opened. The machine is mounted to the bottom part of the case. Overall in a good used condition. The weight is approx. 6 kg. A rare specimen! The lot will be packaged with care and shipped by insured and registered mail.
