AEG MIGNON 2 - Typewriter

MIGNON model 2 typewriter with embossed sheet metal for paper Typewriter Mignon 2 serial no. 13299, year of manufacture ca. 1908, Germany I am selling this beautiful Mignon no. 2 from my collection. This typewriter with serial number 13299 was produced around 1908 by AEG Schreibmaschinen Werke in Berlin. The Mignon has a rectangular key area made from celluloid, on which the characters are formed. The corresponding characters are on a typing cylinder analogous to the key area. After finding the desired letter with the pointer, you press the write button, whereupon the typing cylinder strikes the platen from above with the chosen letter and prints it. The special thing about this Mignon 2 for sale is the sheet metal for paper embossed with Mignon lettering, which only a few models had. This typewriter comes with a restored lid with a wood veneer and a base board. The lid has been restored at great cost. The letter is also embossed on the lid! The device was cleaned and restored. The dry colour ribbon and the coils are original. Please take a look at the pictures of the beautiful typewriter. The pictures are part of the article description. The device will be packaged very well for shipping. This is a private sale without warranty and returns.
