Very beautiful oval Bouillotte lamp, Empire style, France. Round decorated base with bronze candleholders shaped like two swans, a solid green shade made from one piece. The shade has decorations in a gold colour and is white on the inside. Ready for use. In past times, being able to adjust the light (the candle) was very convenient when reading books and the like. Therefore, this lamp was often used in libraries. Wear consistent with age and use. Registered shipping, foreign bidders are also welcome.
