Old hotel bell or table bell - Turtle - Brass with Damasceen Gold inlaid iron, Spain circa 1940. Bottom is marked BOJ, patent. Top beautifully inlaid; Damasceen gold, with various motifs. The bell works by pressing the head or tail, the mechanism works fine. The bell is 14 cm in length and 7.8 cm wide. The height of the bell is 4.8 cm. Weight 478 grams. The bell is in a good, but used condition. The gilding is jaded on the underside, due to use.
