WMF Ikora - Patinated metal Art Deco vase
A beautiful patinated Dinanderie vase of the Württembergische Metallwaren Fabrik from Geislingen Germany.
This vase is from the "IKORA" line of the "Neuen kunstgewerblichen Abteilung" of the WMF company. Designed in a Bauhaus-like style in 1933. Beautiful patina ring (high-fire, copper-oxides) on brass, followed by black by means of ammonia and milled up to the brass foundation; I hope the photos catch the colours well.
The form number is 49 and the decoration number is 1503.
The convex vase is 14.5 cm high.
Marked with the WMF IKORA mark at the underside.
The vase is in good condition (no distortions) with some slight scratches on the surface (see photos).
The vase will be packaged with great care and shipped by registered mail.
