Nivada started at the end of the 19th century. In 1879, what was still a small family business was born. This was in the heart of Grenchen, a little town in east Switzerland. It was not until the 1920s that Jacob Scheneider formalized the label as Wullimann Scheneider Nivada SA, watchmaker Nivada. Chromed case, 36 mm in diameter without original crown, signed Nivada, back in steel, screw, stamped Nivada Silvery dial with many highlights, second marking, hands and central second hand, silvery baton index, dial date to 15 hours and inscription Nivada F77-Swiss made. Frost-free plexiglas. HIRSCH label straps in brown kidskin, 19 cm without buckle. Mechanical hand-wind movement, Swiss, calibre: AS 1951, 17 rubies in good working order. Collector's item.
